Interesting symptoms, but all related to your throat. There are other questions to be asked, like, does it affect your voice? Do you have a cough? Is there any difficulty swallowing solids? Or liquids? Or both? Using the symptoms you mentioned, possible causes include: 1. post nasal drip with mucous formation in your throat. 2. Reflux esophagitis 3. A lesion on the pharynx. Kindly see an ENT doctor who will make a diagnosis and help in your management.
Globus can be from acid reflux but if a PPI fails, then likely from small bowel inflammation ie hard to find. Take a probiotic capsule daily starting with the cheapest one.

This is a problem of the back of the throat, aka posterior pharynx. There may be swelling in this area or just irritation and sensitivity, which we call globus. In some cases, acid reflux can do this but many times reflux is not the explanation. Postnasal drip can cause it too. You should stop smoking, for sure. An ENT doctor can help work this up.
It is very important that you see your doctor to get this evaluated.
