“I'm coughing extremely hard?”
After contracting covid, I started coughing as usual. However, I coughed just one time a little harder than the last and three small chunks of the back of my tongue came out with everything else.

You need a thorough ENT examination, need to see specialist
Drink water till your urine looks like water. No smoking. See your pediatrician for possible Rx for antibiotics.
