Infection?

Hi. I had a DnC done to check a thickened endometrium. With in the week i had a ct scan done this required dye that was supposed to be taken orally and then dye that was given inteoveniously. That said night began to feel an immense throb pain in thw groin. Since then the pains have spread to my but cheek and then lower back. Could my uters and be infected? Or cpuld i have suffered an allergic reaction Im in pain to this day the pain is more of a burning and irritation

It's very hard to say. You may want to go back to the place where you received the IV and oral contrast and alert the team there. The other option is to reach out to your primary care doctor. Most folks who have an allergic reaction do have symptoms like yours and it is hard to say if you are indeed allergic to one of the dyes or perhaps it has something to do with where the dye went for the CT scan. It is really impossible to say with out speaking with whomever did the study or who ordered the study, and they may want to see you in person as well as review the results of the scan.
