Gastroenterologist Questions Liver hemangioma

Liver Hemangioma during pregnancy

I have been diagnosed with a liver hemangioma. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant. Before they listed it as a "fatty liver" until a recent US done for other reasons and they at that time said that it was suspected to be a hemangioma vs fatty liver. It said it is 8.6x2.4x2 cm. I have no idea what that means. I brought it up to my OB yesterday and she was not concerned at all. I have an appoint with my gastro doctor next week just so he can schedule any follow up needed. Do I need to be concerned for the safety of my baby and having one while pregnant? I do not want to worry but I have read some pretty horrible things on Dr. Google. I know that they hardly ever grow and from what I have read the risk of rupture is low. I just do not want to worry for my baby and I. Any advice is much appreciated. By the way all of my liver enzymes were great.

No need to worry about a liver hemagioma. It will not affect your pregnancy.
Hemangioma are benign, no need to do anything during pregnancy
Some benign liver lesions may on occasion increase in size during pregnancy. Your specialists will be able to answer your question fully since they have your medical records.
Liver hemangioma are usually benign and need to be followed during pregnancy and see a GI doctor also.
