My 5 year old did a walkover and heard a crack?

My 5 year old daughter is a squad gymnast and yesterday while trying to do a backward walkover we heard a big crack from her back or neck. She didn’t cry but it did scare her a bit and she said it was a bit sore but then continued playing. Today I gave her a hug and heard another small crack which has never happened before. She says she’s fine/not sore and wants to keep doing tricks. But I’m not sure if I should stop her from doing tricks and take her to a doctor in case it’s serious or leave her if it’s normal and she’s not in any pain. She’s never had this problem before so not sure what to do.

Kids can get pars fractures of the spine when doing gymnastics. I would take her to see a pediatric orthopedic surgeon for x-rays of the spine and an exam.
Find a good pediatric chiropractor to take her to
Never discount Dr. Mom! There is a difference between a "crack" and a "crunch". The fact she is still wanting to play and that she is showing no signs compensating movements (ie limping, trouble taking a deep breath) is a good sign. To put your mind at ease, take her to your pediatrician for an evaluation. Sounds like she is very flexible and in good health. After release from the pediatrician you may consider taking her to a Chiropractor to be adjusted.
You should consult with a Chiropractor in person
