Cardiologist Questions

Not breathing properly

Hi,
So ever since June of 2022 I haven't been breathing properly and I thought it was because I was working and lifting up heavy boxes because as soon as I stop working and started doing school my breathing went back to normal.
But just yesterday I've been having trouble breathing again and it wouldn't be like I'm suffocating it's like I'm breathing but it's not filling up my lungs. Meaning like is going through my body but it takes a couple of deep breaths before I can feel it go fully into my lungs and I just wanted to know what doesn't mean or like should I take it seriously

If shortness of breath is limiting your day-to-day activities, you should be evaluated by the primary care physician initially. Based on your signs and symptoms, your PCP may want to further evaluation by a cardiologist versus a pulmonologist.
You can do is obtain a pulse oximeter and see if your blood is saturated with oxygen.
