Pain in Hands

I have pain in both of my hands in the muscle part on the palm near my thumbs. It is not a sharp pain or a bone pain, more of a muscle ache/soreness. Could this be arthritis? I also cannot make a fist with either of my hands my whole life, if that is related to this at all.

Many conditions can cause this type of pain; from poorly controlled diabetes to inflammatory types of arthritis. A thorough work-up is needed to narrow down and identify the cause.
