“Post pneumothorax, chest tightness”
I had a spontaneous collapsed lung with chest tube insertion. Discharged home felt fine. The next day Chest tightness feeling in center of chest. Feels like there is something compressing lungs. Very weak & tired. I feel faint on occasions when walking. My chest hurts, but I can breath. Is this just normal recovery

Chest tightness is not likely due to a reexpanded pneumothorax . Chest tightness can be bronchospasm but would cause shortness of breath..Esophageal spasm is unlikely too. Cardiac angina should prompt immediate call to primary care physician .If after office hours go to nearest Emergency Center or if primary care is not quickly responsive .
