ā€œShin painā€

When Iā€™m running the lower front part of my leg develops strong pain, but stops as soon as I stop running. It does not effect walking or any movement besides running. What could be the cause and remedy to stop the pain when I run?

You may have a medial tibial stress disorder, "shin splints", exertional compartment syndrome or stress fracture. You should see a medical provider for evaluation, examination or imaging if needed. You may need physical therapy, stretching, icing, medications or activity modification.
