Strep throat?

My throat has been really sore for the past 24 hours. I have no cough or cold. My glands are swollen and as I flashed a light back there it's green and really red.

definitely a tonsillitis. Strep (bacterial tonsillitis) will typically have white patches on the tonsils. From your picture, its likely a viral tonsillitis, which is big red sore tonsils but without the white stuff.
Take anti-inflammatories, get some cepachol/benzocaine lozenges from the pharmacy, and stay hydrated. It will last a week or so. The neck glands may be swollen and sore for a little longer, but you will be fine.
You do have large tonsils. Do not see much exudate. Ant fever/chills? Most sore throats are viral, not bacterial. Have an ENT take a look in person.

Hello, Do recommend an evaluation by a physician.
Head to your primary care doctor's office or an urgent care for a rapid strep test. It still could be viral in nature despite having discoloration. Some of the worst tonsil infections I've seen have come from the Epstein Barr Virus (ie. Mono).
Your photo is one of the palates. Strep throat affects the pharynx, which is the back wall of your mouth, not the palate. Its being out of focus renders it useless.
