General Practitioner Questions Stroke symptoms

Stroke symptoms

My husband was suffering from a stroke in the arms previously, but it was treated. Now there are similar symptoms of a stroke in the right leg, and I want confirmation. What are the treatment methods?

You question needs clarification. What do you mean by stroke? Doctors understand a stroke to be either a blood clot or a burst vessel in the brain. This causes various symptoms, the most common of which are one sided facial paralysis and most commonly a one sided paralysis of an arm andor a leg. A "stroke" in both arms is not a stroke, but something else. A "stroke" in the right leg is most likely not a stroke either,, but something else. Go to you GP and get the lowdown.
