Titanium plate numbness

I have a titanium plate in my collarbone from a motor bike accident that happened about 1 1/2years and recently in the heat of summer im getting alot of numbness and occasional pain aswell as a minor loss of dextarity.

Probably metal irritation.May benefit from removal of metal if fracture is healed.
This is a common complaint after clavicle ORIF. Even when the surgeon dissects out branches of the supraclavicular plexus, it is not uncommon for patients to complaint of residual numbness on the anterior chest wall inferior to the incision. Most surgeons don’t commonly dissect those nerve branches. The symptoms are not related to the plate itself or the metallurgy.
