Toddler drinking detoll?

My 1 year old had little of detoll in the afternoon. He was fine whole day. In the late night (after 12 hours) he had 38.9 fever. Some wheezing type sound from the chest when he was about to sleep. We are confused whether it is due to drinking detoll or anything else?

Although I am not familiar with "detoll," their website indicates they have a wide variety of products that are intended for cleaning, disinfecting, etc., and NOT intended to be ingested. As with all non-edible substances, especially cleaning and household disinfectant products, ingesting them could be life threatening -- any known such ingestion should be promptly
evaluated by emergency medical professionals. I would use this as a "teachable moment" to realize how quickly your toddler can get into dangerous situations that you may not have realized.
