Tremors in all my body

Hello, I would like to ask a question describe my symptoms and find out what I have and what I should do. My symptoms are as follows: tremor of almost my whole body that appeared quickly, especially the legs, trunk and shoulders, after being diagnosed with essential tremor almost a year and a half ago. These tremors make walking difficult, like going down stairs, and when I stand up or sit down, I feel unbalanced. This makes me tired and very worried. I would like you to enlighten me on what this could be ?it is TE or another thing? and if there is a treatment?. For medication, I am hypertensive, I have a coronary stent in my heart since 2018 because of a congenital aortic coarctation, so I take Aprovasc 300/10 and Aspegic and 40mg/day of propanolol for the tremors but it is no longer effective, I believe. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Essential Tremor doesnt usually cause imbalance nor diffuse body tremors. So something else must be going on in addition to essential tremor. Possibilities would include side effects from one of your medications, a metabolic problem or another neurological disorder. I would suggest you talk to your doctor about these. Leon Rosenberg
Hello there. Your complaint does not sound like the common essential tremor. You need to have this further evaluated, especially with a history of congenital heart defects; One main concern would be a genetic disorder. Medication side effects are also a consideration but I could not find the two medications ( Aprovasc 300/10 or Aspegic ), Propranolol is used in Essential tremor. I would suggest sitting down with your Neurologist and reevaluating your signs and symptoms and perhaps doing testing such as an MRI of Brain, EEG and possibly genetic testing. Good luck. Dr. F
