Using Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel 1%?

I bought this product to use on my shoulder, arthritic pain. The flyer says it should not be used on the shoulder, why is that. The pain is in my shoulder and down my arm into my elbow. The pain wakes me frequently during the night, it is a deep ache. If I can't use this on my shoulder what can I use?

You can use diclofenac gel on the shoulder. If it doesn't work, you can try prescription dmso 70% with decadron 1%. I make it up in my office.
I have had patients use it on the neck and shoulders without difficulty, but safer substances that might be helpful are CBD oil, DMSO, essential oils like Frankincense and/or lavender. I would also recommend you see your physician as you may have a joint problem that needs to be addressed.
