What is considered late speech?

My daughter is 20 months old. She is not speaking yet. What is considered late speech?

Children produce fewer than 50 words by age of 2 and also cannot make two word phrases
I would recommend contacting your state's early intervention program and having them evaluate your daughter. Typically there is no cost to you and it can be determined if she needs additional help or not. You can also contact a private speech pathologist and see if they offer a free consult or screening.
Anything after 18 months can be considered concerning. It's best to have her evaluated by a speech language pathologist to determine if treatment is needed
