Local
All depends on the procedure. A minor surgery, i.e., a nail, should recover quickly. But as general rule, you recover fast from local anesthesia. Less side effects.
Local
Local. No neurologic side effects
Local essentially means no sedation. It’s a spectrum between nothing and General. The deeper the anesthesia, the more difficult the recovery.
One can recuperate from local anesthesia and twilight sleep anesthesia faster than from general anesthesia; however, modern methods of general anesthesia also lead to fast recovery times.
