My 7 year old son was diagnosed with mono. Can a 7 year old have mono?

I wonder why you doubt the diagnosis. It is based on clear clinical evidence that is impossible to misinterpret. There is nothing strange about a 7 year old contracting mono, although the average age is higher. It is not for nothing it has the nickname kissing disease.
