How long does it take to heal tendonitis in the elbow?

I am a 30 year old male. I have tendonitis in my elbow. How long does it take to heal tendonitis in the elbow?

1 Answer

The tendonitis in the elbow is caused by the partial tear or full tear of the tendon. Depends on the degree of the tear, the pain can be resolved in 4-6 weeks with the non- steroidal anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen and/ or injection. Physical therapy and elbow strap can also help to relieve the pain. If you have chronic or frequently recurrent pain, small out patient surgery will help.
