About 1-2 weeks. First thing to resolve once flu medicine (Tamiflu) was given is fever, then followed by activity and improvement in appetite, then runny nose/stuffy nose. Last thing to resolve is cough, which might take 1-2 weeks to resolve.
Hope this helps.

Influenza diagnosed by testing can last for couple of weeks. Fevers ranging from high to moderate can be there for 5-7 days, but the cold symptoms, body aches, etc., can last for a total of 2 weeks.
It lasts around 1 week but he can cough for up to 6 weeks and also it is common to get secondary bacterial infections such as ear infections sinusitis or pneumonia.
