“How long should I be on nicotine patches to quit smoking?”
I am trying to quit smoking and the doctor has advised me to be on nicotine patches. How long will I have to use them to completely get rid of this habit?

Well often we do 1 month of each level of patch so at a minimum of three months.
At least 8 weeks, also consider weaning.
As long as you need them. Might be months or years, DO NOT STOP PREMATURELY out of the idea you SHOULDN'T need them.
