“Should I take cephalexin 250MG capsules? ”
I recently had hip replacement surgery four weeks ago. My cat bit my arm and broke the skin. Should I take the four capsules of cephalexin?

Yes
You should be evaluated by a physician so soon after a hip replacement surgery to avoid any kind of infection. The type of preventive antibiotic is different than cephalexin. Contact your PCP and/or orthopedic surgeon!

As long as you're not allergic.
I would contact the surgeon who did the surgery. Surgeon preference might be different
Call your doctor or go to ER immediately. You will get infected. One dose of abx will not fix it
