“What causes nervous tics in children?”
My child keeps ticking his neck to the side repeatedly, and he can't control when it happens. What is wrong with him? This mainly happens when he's stressed out and anxious.

It can be a nervous tick. Just ignore it and try to find what is causing stress and help him with any situation causing stress.
These are motor tics and are common. The more attention that is made about the problem, usually the child will have them more frequently. Most of the time they get less as they get older. If not, there is some medicines that help them
