Pediatrician Questions Ear pain

What causes daily earaches?

My 10 year old daughter's ears ache almost every day, but otherwise she seems healthy. No other symptoms. What could be causing this?

Chronic ear ache can have many etymologies. Needs to be seen by a specialist (ENT) and run a few tests to see how the pressure in the middle ear is and so on. It’s a complex problem that needs prompt attention.
If the ear looks normal, it could be TMJ or something called Eustachian tube dysfunction. Definitely see an ENT to figure it out.

Is it the outer ear or the middle ear? She needs to be checked for infection. Sometimes getting water in the ear can cause "swim ear" and make the ears hurt to touch.
