Olney, Maryland – MedStar Montgomery Medical Center proudly recognizes Ashish Kishore Tolia, DO, who has been serving as a hospitalist/nocturnist at the facility since January 2020. With a commitment to providing sophisticated and compassionate care, Dr. Tolia has become an integral part of the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality medical services in a personalized atmosphere.

Dr. Tolia completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. Following his graduation, he gained valuable experience during his internship in internal medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2002. He further refined his clinical skills during his residency in internal medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, which he completed in 2004.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and an active member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, Dr. Tolia is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement in his practice. He stays abreast of advancements in the medical field, ensuring that his patients receive the most effective and up-to-date care available.

Dr. Tolia’s commitment to patient care is reflected in his unwavering dedication to providing the highest quality of service to those he treats. His passion for medicine drives him to make a meaningful impact in the lives of his patients and within the broader community. His approach prioritizes individual patient needs, fostering trust and comfort in the healthcare experience.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Tolia values work-life balance. When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys playing golf, which provides him with an opportunity to unwind and recharge. Dr. Tolia also cherishes his vacations in Aruba, where he finds relaxation and inspiration. He is an avid reader of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), which keeps him informed about the latest research and developments in the medical field.
