Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Lisa C. Perry-Gilkes, who serves patients in Peachtree City, Georgia.

Dr. Perry-Gilkes, an established otolaryngologist, is the Chief Medical Officer at the Ear, Nose & Throat Institute. She sees patients at the office in Peachtree City, Georgia, addressing any and all concerns of the ear, nose, and throat. 

The Ear, Nose & Throat Institute provides exceptional treatment and care for ear, nose and throat disorders including balloon sinuplasty, allergy treatments, sleep apnea and snoring treatment, hearing aids, voice therapy, tonsils and adenoids, and so much more.

Dr. Perry-Gilkes first came to Atlanta to attend Spelman College. Her academic travels then took her to Washington, D.C., where she earned her medical degree from the Howard University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in otolaryngology at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Committed to providing outstanding care and expertise, she is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. The Board serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

Licensed to practice medicine in Georgia, Dr. Perry-Gilkes is affiliated with WellStar Atlanta Medical Center and Southern Regional Medical Center.

Serving as President of the Medical Association of Georgia, she is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and a member of the Medical Association of Atlanta.

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.

Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Perry-Gilkes has been the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2009, 2008) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014).

Happily married, she lives in Atlanta with her husband and medical school classmate, Ulric Gilkes, MD. They have two adult sons, Ivan and James.
