A triple board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Agarwal-Antal works with patients at her private practice – Hudson Dermatology – in Hudson, Ohio. She specializes in general dermatology, dermatological surgery, skin cancer, skin diseases of children and adults, collagen, lasers for vascular lesions, and warts. She also takes care of babies with atopic eczema, and elderly with actinic keratosis.
A native of Ohio, she completed a six-year accelerated Bachelor of Science/medical degree program at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in Rootstown, Ohio. She then went on to train in anatomical and clinical pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where she designed and authored an interactive textbook on CD ROM, which at the time was the first of its type.
Subsequently, she received subspecialty training in dermatopathology at Jefferson Medical College under the tutelage of A. Bernard Ackerman. From there she went to the University of Utah for dermatology training while being a faculty member.
With an unwavering commitment to her specialty, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.
Furthermore, she is board-certified in pathology & dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABPath). The mission of the ABPath is to promote the health of the public and advance the practice and science of pathology by establishing voluntary certification standards and assessing the qualifications of those seeking to practice the specialty of pathology.
Active in academia, Dr. Agarwal-Antal serves as a full Clinical Professor within the Department of Pathology and Clinical Associate Professor within Internal Medicine at NFawardortheast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED).
