Get to know Dentist Dr. Anshu Goyal, who serves patients throughout the State of Maryland.

Dedicated to the health and comfort of smiles, Dr. Goyal has been setting the highest standards in general and cosmetic dentistry since 2012. 

Working alongside her husband, Dr. Sahil Goyal, on a daily basis, she treats dental problems and cosmetic concerns throughout Maryland at the offices of Columbia Family Dentist, Laurel Smiles Dental Care & Frederick Center for Dentistry. 

Her love for children can be seen every day in the office as she spends a lot of time with the little members, giving them a perfect dental experience. Not only does she strive to provide the highest standard of oral care, but her intention is to develop a good foundation of dental care and lifelong dental needs.

Highly educated, Dr. Goyal earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She then received advanced training in CAD/CAM technology, Invisalign, root canals, crowns & bridges, implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dental needs, to name a few.

Staying on the cutting-edge of dentistry, Dr. Goyal maintains memberships in many professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies. She is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Howard County Dental Association, as well as the Catonsville Study Club, CEREC Doctors Study Club, and Spear Education Study Clubs.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Happily married, Dr. Goyal and her husband have two wonderful sons.
