Educated in Romania, Dr. Dragoi graduated with her Medical Degree from Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1995. After relocating to the United States, she went on to perform her residency in pediatrics at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, followed by her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
Subsequent to her training, the doctor attained board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Dr. Dragoi’s research endeavors are primarily focused on three key areas: ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), vitamin D deficiency (exploring its implications and potential solutions), and obesity. Through her work in these areas, she strives to make meaningful contributions to healthcare and well-being.
