First call 911 - If he is awake and responsive give him 325 mg of aspirin. Keep him calm. Also if you are caring for some one who has heart disease you should learn CPR. If his heart was to stop - the sooner that he receives “good” CPR the better his chances are to survive. Go online to the American Heart Association to find a class near you. READ MORE

My son felt giddy while playing. What should I do?
As long as your son is other wise healthy, I would not recommend go to the emergency department at this time. This does sound like anxiety. As long as he is not lightheaded or feels like he going to pass out I would just watch him closely. Call his pediatrician or Family MD for a follow up appointment in next day or so.
