Is it possible for children to get fibromyalgia?
Yes, it is true children can get fibromyalgia (aka amplified pain syndrome). I would recommend further evaluation by a pediatric rheumatologist to rule out other causes of her pain as the diagnosis of fibromyalgia is once everything else has been excluded. READ MORE
I have a 13 year daughter with swollen joints! Should I take her to a pediatric rheumatologist?
I would have her go to her primary care specialist to get further evaluation. If it lasts longer than a few weeks then would consider further workup by a specialist. READ MORE
