Why does a stress test use radioactive dye?
The nuclear medicine spreads to the entire body including the heart and allows us to image the heart to see if the patient has a blockage. The effect of it last 24 hours.
Does a nuclear stress test show blocked arteries?
It shows signs of blocked arteries. It actually does not show the actual artery but if the artery has significant blockage which showed lack of blood flow in that area
