Track exercise and diet
Both exercise and diet are key to a healthy lifestyle. Whatever strategy a caregiver comes up with to help a child maintain health despite his or her unique challenges, tracking these strategies might help them stick better. Tracking a child’s diet and exercise can give the child both a visual representation of the work he or she has been doing as well as providing him or her with a sense of accomplishment. If a caregiver and a child can establish a habit of regularly recording and tracking good habits, then the child may be more motivated to maintain these habits which will promote his or her overall health.
