History Buff Teen with Muscular Dystrophy' Gets to Reenact Revolutionary War

Through the rain, the minutemen and John pushed through

However, Steve Crosby, the Acton Minutemen’s captain, was persistent. Along with his company, they huddled under a tent in Concord and agreed to push through with the bridge reenactment. John inspired them and touched their hearts, and they would not let the weather stop them from granting his wish. In the middle of marching their way to the bridge, several people gave John some gifts, such as a warrant that appointed him as a drummer in the colonel’s company. He also had gotten a signed photo of the regiment and a T-shirt. The minutemen from other companies and other regiments of foot joined him during the last parts of his march.
