“A stye or something more ”
So I had a sore in my eye and it went away but now I got this massive swollen eye lid but it’s also swollen around the eye lid and eye area and I’m just wondering if I should treat it as a sty or get it checked out

“Styes “ , also known as chalazion/hordeolums are infections of the oil glands in the eyelid. Warm compresses along with topical or systemic antibiotics are the mainstay of treatment. Sometimes they need to be drained in the office. If the redness and tenderness is spreading along the eyelid, it may be turning into an infection of the skin tissue, also known as preseptal cellulitis. I would recommend having a provider look at it in the office
