Adderall before surgery

I have labrum repair surgery in 2 days, but I have taken Adderall 20 mg some this week. I am not prescribed. Should I be worried?

Make sure you tell your anesthesiologist when you meet him or her prior to surgery about your Adderall use. However, there is no reason to be worried about how it affects anesthesia or about getting in trouble for using it without a prescription.
Patients who are taking longer. Adderall is at risk of labile blood pressure intraoperatively and should ideally be off that medication for 10 days. However, a dose or two during the week prior to surgery should not pose a problem.
According to the recent studies, even the continuous use of Adderall for
ADHD doesn’t interfere with general anesthesia.
