I am a 19 year old male. I want to know if glasses or contacts are better for astigmatism?

Absent a diseased cornea, both means of correction should work well.
Both glasses and contact lenses can be used for better vision. Of course, contact lenses have clearer vision but more discomfort and are more expensive.
It depends on your prescription. Your doctor can help you identify which you might benefit from.
