Are partial dentures safe?

I have some missing molar teeth. I want to get a partial denture. Are partial dentures safe?

Safe? Yes, they will not poison you... However, depending on how many teeth are missing and where, partials have many disadvantages, even if properly done by a prosthodontist. From being a removable appliance, the need to prepare teeth and make space for clasps and connectors, applying extra forces on the abutment teeth, and more. Today, dental implants are the standard of care for replacement of natural teeth. *Avi Donitza DMD* *Prosthodontics & Implant Dentistry* *Maxillofacial Prosthodontics* *152 S. Yes! Partial dentures are safe and are an excellent, economic way to replace missing teeth and to increase your ability to speak and function. While there are other ways to replace missing teeth, like implants or bridge work, they can be very expensive. That makes the removable partial denture is an excellent choice.
Yes, partial dentures are safe. They are the quickest and most economical answer for replacing (some) missing teeth in an arch. An arch equals all the upper teeth or all the lower teeth.
