Can I wait a week to fill a cavity?

I have a cavity on my front tooth. I do not have time to go to the dentist. Can I wait a week to fill a cavity?

Are you in pain? How deep did the dentist say the decay is? Long story short. The cavity has been eating your tooth away for months/years. You may be just fine waiting 1 wk
No, It can become a Root canal if it is already close to the Nerve. Waiting will not solve the problem it will become a more expensive treatment.
It is very important to be seen by a dentist sooner than later. That way the tooth doesn't break or need a possible root canal.
Most likely the answer is yes. If you are having any symptoms, then no.

It's hard to answer that question without an exam. Try to get things taken care of as soon as possible.
Yes. Not much should change in that short amount of time.
Yes you can. It will not get significantly larger or worse, in a week
