In one article by BMC Psychiatry, within 33 studies and a total of 1,142 participants who received CBT therapy 44.5 or 13.2% of the patients reached a 20 % minimally improved and a 50 % much improved status and 52.9 of the patients or, 24.8% of them reached a 20% to 50% reduction of the positive symptoms of schizophrenia. The average response rate is subjective because of the varying and uniqueness of schizophrenia symptoms from person to person, but, on average it could take up to 4 to 6 sessions within four months to see improvements and reduction of positive symptoms of schizophrenia with CBT therapy.
Good morning
They can go away as long as you are addressing what is triggering them and how you want to go about them in terms of how it is affecting you. Learning tools to calm us down can be VERY helpful. Learning several tools so that you. can apply them in certain environment depending on where you are.
Medications can be helpful if your tools are not helping.
Greetings,

Panic attacks do go away on their own, but there are ways in which you can try to suppress them. You can try meditating daily to relax your mind and your body for 15 to 30 minutes. You can also practice effective breathing techniques, relaxing music, etc. If this does not work, you make want to consult with your doctor. I hope this helps.
