Can you sleep in partial dentures?

I am a 79 year old female. I want to know if you can sleep in partial dentures?

It is better to take out your partial dentures to let the gum rest during the night...
Some patients sleep with their partial but it is not recommended. If one has few teeth in one arch only and the patient bites him/herself then the partial could be worn after a good brushing and flossing
Yes, you can sleep with your partial denture as long as you have thoroughly cleaned the teeth that has wires/clasps to hold the partial denture.

Unless directed by your dentist, you should never sleep in partial or full dentures!
Sure. You can sleep with your partial dentures in your mouth. However, like with anything not part of your body naturally, your mouth needs a rest from them for several hours each day. You should brush and floss with your partials OUT of your mouth and leave them out of your mouth several hours each day to allow your oral tissues to rest and breathe.
