Floaters may get worse, better or not change much from cataract surgery.
Floaters can become more obvious after cataract surgery. Removing the cataract lets more light into the eye and can make floaters more obvious. Also, it is possible that one complication of cataract surgery is retinal tears or detachment. You should have the floaters evaluated by the doctor that did your cataract surgery and possibly a retina doctor also.
