Do probiotics help inflammation of the stomach?

I was diagnosed with stomach inflammation. Is it serious? Do probiotics help inflammation of the stomach?

The research is not exactly clear but there are recommendations for probiotics in some patients with chronic inflammation so yes, they could help.
Gastritis can arise from multiple different causes, and the cause needs to be treated.

No, there is no evidence that probiotics help stomach inflammation. Bacteria cannot live in the stomach so it is difficult to imagine how or why taking an oral bacteria would have any effect on the stomach when those bacteria are destroyed by stomach acid.
No evidence that they do. Try OTC famotidine (generic Pepcid) for a few weeks.
