I am a 69 year old female. I want to know if you lose weight after getting dentures?

You lose weight if you are not eating as before. Sometimes it takes time to get used to chewing with dentures.
Since that is a very individual question, I cannot give anything other than a general answer, which is, it depends on the person entirely. Dentures are not natural teeth and are harder to eat with.
