Yes, absolutely
Yes, you 100% should see a neurologist after a stroke and continue to follow up with them regularly throughout the year.
Yes absolutely
That is a question better directed to your friend's primary care provider. A consultation with a neurologist and/or a cardiologist would be well advised.
Yes, need to see a neurologist and probably get a CT or MRI of brain too.
Yes you need to see a neurologist-for work up and to prevent another stroke.
We recommend your friend sees a specialist if they haven't already. Contact us for more information - 407-704-8510 or visit Orlando-epilepsy.com
Definitely see a neurologist!
Yes, b/c the greatest risk after stroke is.......another stroke! So, lowering your risk factors is key to "keeping the function you still got." Sadly, not all neurologists are created equal. A VERY few truly specialize in stroke management; and the guidelines are constantly changing. And even fewer neurologists specialize in neuro-rehabilitation....and only a few of those will care or know much about which medications or supplements could help with optimizing functional recovery...both in the short term and the long.
