Not at all, I'm the leading dentist who does Invisilign in my area, and I never see that. The patient just needs good oral hygiene
No it should not
In general, Invisalign aligners themselves do not cause bad breath. However, improper oral hygiene or not cleaning your aligners regularly can lead to the buildup of bacteria which can contribute to bad breath. It's important to always brush and floss your teeth properly and clean your aligners using the instructions provided in the Invisalign care kit should you have Invisalign.
Anytime you have a buildup of bacteria in the mouth you will notice a smell. Simply keep your teeth clean after eating including rinsing your trays and you should not notice any smelly breath. If you do book a consultation with your dentist as you may have a different issue in your mouth that needs addressed.
