Does TMJ surgery change your face?

I have TMJ and want to fix it with surgery. Does TMJ surgery change your face?

Normally, it won't besides the scars in the area of surgery. If you have experience of forming keloid in the scar area, then you may expect the same. The only time it will change the face is when the facial nerve is damage during the surgery.
