Yes, any surgery will leave a scar. We can only place it where it is not so obvious. With chin implant you can make the incision inside your mouth. It may cause more problems just like you go to a dentist and have some surgical procedures that need to cut through the soft tissues since we have to cut to the bone. But you can do it through the skin.
