Does your face shape change after veneers?

I am a 24 year old female. I want to know if your face shape changes after veneers?

Any esthetic work to your anterior teeth may cause changes
YES! If your dentist does a very good job, YOU will be SMILING. If he does a lousy job, you will be sad.
Great question,

The answer is that it's possible. Depending upon the thickness of your veneers, your upper lip can change. If you want to keep your lip where it is, then your dentist will remove about a third to a half of a millimeter of your tooth to place a veneer that is the same thickness. So, the net change would be zero. But, if you want a fuller lip, then veneers can be placed with little or no tooth reduction. I would discuss your concerns with your dentist so he/she can develop a treatment plan to meet your wants.

Hope this helps,

Veneers can possibly change the shape of your lips, so by changing the lips shape to give it more support, that in turn can change the shape of the face. The function of your bite, or the angulation of the teeth themselves, can limit the possibility of changing the lips or shape! For more information on porcelain veneers click here:
