Feeling weak after the flu

I got over the flu around a week ago, thankfully. However I still feel a similar tiredness and weakness. Is this normal? When can I expect this to go away?

It is not usual for people to feel weak after the flu. You must make sure you don’t have post viral pneumonitis. This condition may be asymptomatic or it may present as a rattle sound in your chest. If no symptoms, you may consider some oregano tea. Go to a health food store. Buy the oregano herb, boil it for 20 minutes, strain it in a tea sock to get the juice. Then, mix it with raw honey at a ratio of 50-50. Then, drink 1 tea cup every 4-6 hours. You may also take 500 to 1000 mg of Vitamin C twice daily. If your condition persists after 2 weeks, I do advise you see an MD for further evaluation.
Usually, it takes 2 to 4 weeks after the flu to get back to normal, depending on the age and overall health.
Yes, that is normal. May take another week or more to feel back to your baseline. As long as you improve not worsen, then should be fine. If you are progressively worsening, then I would recommend you see your doc for evaluation and make sure nothing else is going on.
It might take 1-2 weeks to feel back to normal. Keep eating and drinking, rest is very important.

It would probably take another week or two to define recovery, and hopefully, you have no other medical problems to complicate recovery.
